“NO BOOK IS REALLY WORTH READING AT THE AGE OF TEN WHICH IS NOT EQUALLY (AND OFTEN FAR MORE) WORTH READING AT THE AGE OF FIFTY” – C.S. LEWIS

Update: Texas Book Festival, Brooklyn Book Festival, & more!

It’s been a fun few months!

In September, I moderated a panel at the Brooklyn Book Festival with superstar authors Lauren Tarshis (I Survived…), Kazu Kibuishi (Amulet), and George O’Connor (The Olympians)… and then in October I flew to Austin for the Texas Book Festival, where I was on a panel with MORE superstar authors: Rebecca Stead (Goodbye Stranger, When You Reach Me) and Nikki Loftin (Wish Girl). In between, I got to talk to a group of young writers at Penguin Bookshopthe local paper wrote about it! — and at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh.

Some photo albums below, and more to come!

Big hugs to everyone who has come to these events, and an even bigger — huge — hugs and thanks to the organizers who invited me and the authors who were kind enough to share their spotlight and bring the crowds!

Thanks so much to Penguin for hositng me on their 86th birthday!
